After I found out I bruised my tailbone all I could do was rest and recover. These two things can be hard to do when you are used to always being on the go. My Coach once said that if you come back from an injury the same as you were before an injury that itself is the true tragedy. While I am not 100% healed yet I have learned quite a but during the past two weeks and will continue to learn more as I fully recover.
1. Make time for all of my friends. While training is important, it is important to make time for my friends...after all I am beyond blessed to have such amazing friends!
2. To get my diet under control. While I've been hurt I've watched what I've ate and am eating healthier than I was before. Beets....yummy lol
3. Add in rest days!!
4. Start swimming again! Swimming is great and is low impact.
5. Check where I will jump down before I stump jump again.
6. Work on my career and devote more time and energy to getting what I want!
7. I needed to remember that I love running and training and do this for fun! I need to take some pressure off of myself.
8. Puppies Puppies Puppies!!!! :)
9. I enjoy longruns and more miles so I should add that back into my training plan.
10. Most importantly I needed this break more than I knew, I was in the verge of over training because I am stubborn sometimes.
Thank you to all of my amazing friends and family that have dealt with me and my booty problems over the past couple of weeks.
